• Hola!

Hello! I'm Jen—a Mexican living in Germany, passionate about empowering others on their menopause journeys.
As an ex-journalist with a PhD in Political Science focusing on Gender Relations, I've dedicated my career to researching, teaching, and writing about Intersectional Feminism, Body Politics, and Diversity and Inclusion in organizations.
At 36, my life took an unexpected turn. After a year of feeling unwell and numerous doctor visits, I was diagnosed with premature menopause (now called premature ovarian insufficiency). This experience transformed my life. I left my job to focus on healing my body, mind, heart, and soul—a journey that continues with its ups and downs.

Unable to find the support I needed, I decided to support myself by training as a menopause doula. Today, I have the privilege of sharing what I've learned and accompanying others on their menopause journeys, a role that brings me immense joy.
Academia called me back, and I now research menopause and its relation to the workplace, developing methods to make work environments more menopause-friendly. Through consulting and training, I help organizations heal and evolve. I love it.
My mission is to bring awareness about menopause in all its forms and to serve others so they have an easier experience than I did. If this resonates with you, let's connect.
