Women’s Health Champion Training

A Programme for Workplace Advocates

Spring 2027 · Online · Pilot cohort

Workshops raise awareness. Policies set a framework. But lasting change depends on people who hold the conversation day to day: colleagues who understand the topic, can support others in a safe and informed way, and know how to refer when needed.

That is what a Women’s Health Champion does. This programme trains them to do it well, across menstrual health, perimenopause, and menopause.

How it works

  • Two interactive online half-days

The foundation of the programme, a week apart: menstrual health, perimenopause and menopause, the workplace context, the Champion role and its boundaries, and how to have safe, effective conversations with colleagues. With time to reflect and practise in between.

  •  Four quarterly online CPD (continuing professional development) sessions

One per quarter across the year. Each session deepens a specific aspect of the work, grounded in what participants are encountering in their organisations.

  • A peer community

A small group of 6 to 9 Champions from different organisations, learning and exchanging throughout the programme.

What participants gain

  • Solid grounding in menstrual health, perimenopause and menopause and their impact at work
  • Knowledge of the legal and occupational health context, including ISO 45010
  • Clear Champion role definition: what it includes and where to refer
  • Skills for safe, boundaried conversations with colleagues
  • An intersectional lens on diverse experiences across the reproductive life course
  • Practical tools and resources to use from day one

Who this is for

HR managers, workplace health and diversity and inclusion professionals, equality officers, works council members, occupational health specialists, people leaders, and any employee ready to take on a Champion role. Open to employer-funded participants and self-funding individuals, from anywhere.
