Women's Health is a Workplace Topic
Most organisations want to do right by the women in their teams but lack the knowledge, tools, language, and structures to address menstrual health and menopause meaningfully. The cost is real: lost workdays, lower productivity, and experienced women leaving.

It's Time for Change
From a keynote to developing, implementing, and evaluating real support measures, I meet organisations where they are. The result: women who feel supported, leaders who respond with confidence, and a culture where menstrual health and menopause are normalised and embedded in the way you work.

"The collaboration was straightforward and very pleasant from the start. The talk was consistently well received and widely praised by our staff. The event created lasting impact: it sparked the idea of being there for each other and actively fostering exchange. "Jennifer Chan de Avila's leadership workshop at TU Berlin was very well received. She conveyed in a structured, lively and friendly way how menopause can affect working life, how leaders can communicate the topic sensitively with those affected, and which tools help foster understanding and support. I would invite her again at any time."
Anne Kramer

"We have been regularly inviting Jennifer for a talk and exchange for three years now. Our participants rate the event consistently very positively: they feel informed, understood and strengthened — especially women in male-dominated fields who often feel alone."

"Jennifer knows the topic of menopause inside out and understands the university context equally well. She has a particular talent for creating spaces where everyone can participate. The combination of a workshop for those affected and one for people with personnel responsibility had exactly the multiplier effect we hoped for."

"Jennifer designed Breaking the Cycle as a tailored full-day programme covering menstrual health and peri/menopause: from awareness to tools for effective team communication to a supported exchange for those navigating it firsthand. The dos and don'ts were particularly valuable. A topic that had never been on our agenda — and one we won't be letting go of."

FAQs
What does working together look like?
Every collaboration starts with a free 15-minute call. From there I put together a tailored proposal. Once agreed, a design call goes deeper — your organisation's specific situation, what you need and want to achieve, the session focus, and your team's existing level of engagement with the topic. Delivery and follow-up are included in every format.
How long does it take from first contact to delivery?
A single talk can typically be scheduled within two to three weeks. Workshops and training programmes need a little more lead time. Strategic consulting is scoped individually. If you have an urgent need, get in touch and we will do our best to make it work.
How is pricing structured?
Pricing depends on the format, duration, and scope. Separate pricing applies for public sector and non-profit organisations. Book a free 15-minute call to discuss your needs and receive a tailored proposal.
Do you work with both public and private sector organisations?
Yes. I have worked with federal agencies, city governments, higher education institutions, and international private sector companies. I understand the different needs, structures, and constraints of each context — and every session is tailored accordingly.
We are a small organisation — is this relevant for us?
Yes. Menstrual health and menopause affect organisations of every size. Formats are available for small groups and can be scoped to fit your context and resources.
We already ran a talk — do we need more?
A talk is a strong first step that opens the conversation and builds shared awareness. But awareness alone rarely leads to lasting change. Workshops, training, and consulting formats build on that foundation — developing skills, embedding structures, and creating the conditions for real impact.
What makes this offer different from other providers?
Every format is academically grounded and independent — no product to sell, no commercial agenda. As co-author of the field's reference publication for the DACH region and Germany's expert representative in the ISO 45010 standardisation initiative, I bring research depth, policy shaping experience, and direct work with hundreds of individuals and organisations — all in one partner.
What languages are sessions available in?
All sessions are available in English, German, and Spanish. Materials are provided in the language of delivery. If you need something specific, get in touch.
Can you help us develop guidelines, toolkits, and other structural materials?
Yes. I support organisations in developing the internal materials they need to embed this topic structurally — manager guidelines, communication frameworks, toolkits, and policy documents. This is typically part of the Strategic Consulting offer but can also be scoped as a standalone piece of work.
Can you create a format that is not listed here?
Yes. I regularly work with clients to develop new formats and approaches for specific contexts, audiences, or challenges. If you have something in mind, get in touch.
Can organisations book multiple formats as part of a longer programme?
Yes. Formats can be combined and sequenced into a programme that builds over time — starting with awareness and moving toward deeper skills, structural change, or long-term partnership. Get in touch to discuss what makes sense for your organisation.
Is coaching confidential — will my employer know what was discussed?
Yes, fully. Coaching sessions are entirely private and confidential. The organisation commissions the service but has no access to what is discussed. The session is between the employee and me only.
We don't know where to start.
That is exactly what the free 15-minute call is for. We talk through your situation and what would make the most sense as a first step. Get in touch and we will figure it out together.
